About
The PACE Center for Girls is a statewide alternative school, providing education and counseling for at-risk middle- and high school-aged girls. Their services are not limited to schooling, as students also work with therapists and life-management counselors, which continue for three years after the girls leave the program to help in the transition.

The organization is headquartered in Jacksonville and has 19 locations throughout the state. Two can be found in Northeast Florida, including one in Jacksonville and one in Clay County. The Jacksonville location was the first in the state, formed in 1985. Since then, they have helped more than 3,000 girls. The Clay County location is the newest in the state, opening in 2015.

They do have high costs, with 77.3% of spending going to their mission. We like to see a charity spend at least 75% on their mission, so they narrowly cleared that hurdle. Administrative costs are on the high side, part of which can be attributed to the cost of running an educational organization, but they also have a number of high salaries. They also spend 5.7% on fundraising activities.

Our Conclusion
The PACE Center for Girls is a very good program with a high success rate and a staff that really cares about their success. They do have some high costs, but they do a good job. We give them a RECOMMEND rating.
