Our Analysis
Spending on mission
30,624,904 ÷ 32,079,623 = 95.5%
Our Conclusion
Hope Heritage has impressive numbers, both in terms of the contributions to the organization, the efficiency of their spending, and the size of their volunteer corps. However, we thought we’d be able to find more info on an organization that brings in tens of millions in contributions every year and has 8,000 volunteers. Instead, we found a very basic website, no info on the founders or leadership, and a Facebook page (LINK) with only three posts from three years ago. This may be attributed to the nature of operating in disadvantaged areas overseas, but is enough to give us pause.
We’ll continue to look for more info on this organization, but for the time being, we give them a CAUTION rating.
