Our Analysis

Beaches Habitat for Humanity had $3.7 million in revenue according to their latest report.

That $3.7 million in revenue came from three main sources. $1.1 million came from donors, $1.0 million came from government grants, and $1.6 million came from revenue through their home sales.

Beaches Habitat is moderately efficient with their spending, with just shy of 83% of spending going to their mission. We like to see a charity spend at least 75% on their mission, so their 83% is not bad. They do have fundraising expenses, but just a modest amount.

Spending on mission
2,804,265 ÷ 3,386,925 = 82.8%

Spending on administrative costs
443,285 ÷ 3,386,925 = 13.1%

Spending on fundraising
139,375 ÷ 3,386,925 = 4.1%

Our Conclusion
Beaches Habitat for Humanity is a good organization and a worthy cause. They spend their money well and we give them a RECOMMEND rating.

They also have many volunteer opportunities available, which can be found here:
