About
Family Foundations of Northeast Florida promotes financial literacy, stability, and better financial behaviors. They offer several programs to help people with their finances, from providing financial counselors who educate and create a roadmap to achieving financial goals, to family and mental health counseling. They also offer an asset-building program that aims to move people out of poverty.

Family Foundations was formed in 1955 and was originally referred to as Family Counseling Services. It was created by the Junior League, United Way, and the Jewish Welfare League to provide marriage and family counseling to low-income families. They have evolved over time to include financial counseling and have helped over 130,000 families since its inception.
